Lived Experience Network

Are you a patient, carer, or member of the public living in North Central London, North East London and Mid/South Essex? Would you like to shape the future of health and care for your communities? Come and join our Lived Experience Network!

The Lived Experience Network is a diverse community of patients, carers and public contributors who are given opportunities to share their views and knowledge, and work with projects from across our area to make sure that we are tackling the biggest health challenges and developing solutions that work.

Our Network is open to everyone in our region to join, no matter your background or experience, so join today by filling out the form below.

Once you join the Network, what happens?

After signing up to the Network, you’ll receive regular emails with opportunities to get involved in activities that can shape the future of health and care.

Opportunities will come in a variety of shapes and sizes: there will be some that will look at exploring certain health challenges (e.g. cancer or dementia), some will be targeting particular services (e.g. GP services or outpatients), and others might be looking particularly at certain locations (e.g. Barking and Dagenham or Camden). Some opportunities will be small one-off pieces of work, others could be working together long term. There will also be lots of different task types from reading documents, getting involved in online or in-person focus groups, to helping identify problems and more!

Because of the range of opportunities on offer, it is completely up to you to choose the activities that suit your interest areas and experiences, with the time commitments that work for you.

As well as emails containing opportunities, you’ll also get news and updates on the work happening within the network so you can really see what impact your involvement is having on health and care.

If you’re still unsure about whether the Lived Experience Network is for you, you can read more information about the network here
