Innovators will have the opportunity to share their experiences and quiz an expert panel in an interactive workshop hosted by the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) at the 2016 Health and Care Innovation Expo on 7 September.
The workshop, titled ‘Accelerating the uptake of innovation in the NHS: The NIA, a year on’ forms part of Expo’s pop-up university, and will take place on Wednesday 7 September at 3pm. Offering practical tools and tips on how to accelerate the uptake of innovation in the NHS, participants will be able to highlight any challenges they have faced, and have their questions answered by an expert panel chaired by Managing Director of UCLPartners AHSN, Dr Charlie Davie.
Innovators can submit questions for the panel via Twitter from today using the hashtag #AsktheNIA

The panel members will share learnings as to how to increase uptake of innovation in the NHS from SME and public sector perspectives. The workshop will also highlight the types of support available for health innovators, including the Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) and the test bed initiatives.
In the lead-up to Expo, the NHS Innovation Accelerator will be running a social media campaign via Twitter, encouraging innovators to submit their questions for the panel using the hashtag #AsktheNIA
These questions will be tackled by the panel during the interactive session, with innovators able to follow the conversation via Twitter.
