Transfer of value
Our joint working agreements with industry.
Most of our income comes from public sector and not-for-profit organisations. We also work with commercial organisations where this supports specific programmes of work.
These agreements can bring additional funding, expertise and capacity. This helps more patients benefit and supports the health and care system to adopt valuable innovations.
As part of the Health Innovation Network, we follow these principles when working with industry:
- Patients’ needs first
- Improving value from public money
- Alignment with local and national priorities
- A balanced, whole systems approach to healthcare
- Openness and transparency
Our aim is to build long-term collaborative relationships based on mutual trust, respect and transparency.
From April 2022, all Health Innovation Networks, including UCLPartners, have published details of joint working agreements with industry and any donations from non-profit or charitable organisations. These are known as transfers of value.
