Connecting Mental Health Hospitals on physical and mental health adaptation

We are working with partners to organise and support the Physical Health Leads Network to reduce the mental health mortality gap.

We are working in partnership with Health Innovation Network, Imperial College Health Partners and King’s Health Partners to organise and support the Physical Health Leads Network.

The Physical Health Leads network was set up to bring together clinicians and expertise across the London region and aims to reduce the mental health mortality gap.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, UCLP have set up a weekly meeting for the Network members to discuss ongoing issues related to COVID-19 within their trusts, as well as share information, guidance and tips with each other. This group has expanded in size from the original Network and draws on expertise from a wider membership to offer advice and support.

In collaboration with Health Innovation Network, UCLP have set up a NHS Futures page London Physical and Mental Health Leads Network – COVID 19. This is a platform for members to share resources, guidance and raise discussion points outside of the regular catch up.
