CVD Academy: Impact posters
In 2023, UCLPartners launched the CVD Academy. It aims to reduce heart attacks and strokes by developing a network of people who have the enthusiasm and drive to lead change within Cardiovascular disease. The ambassadors who took part in this first year were a combination of primary care GPs, pharmacists and nurses across North Central London, North East London and Mid and South Essex.
In September 2024, they came together for a celebration event showcasing the outcomes from the first year of the programme.
