Our organisation
UCLPartners is a health innovation company powered by a world-class ecosystem of founders, clinical innovators and leading healthcare organisations and universities. We work across London, and beyond, helping innovations move from promise to real-world impact.
Our work spans the full innovation journey. We forecast emerging healthcare challenges and opportunities, develop and prove breakthrough solutions, adopt what works in real clinical settings, and scale innovations so they improve and transform care.
By combining deep clinical insight with the ability to test, adopt and scale through our world-class ecosystem, we make health innovations work in practice, not just in theory. This is how we achieve our vision: a world where innovation creates better health for all.
We are one of 15 health innovation networks across England that together form the national Health Innovation Network.
By combining our deep local relationships and implementation expertise with national coordination, we help promising innovations reach more patients and NHS services across England.
Across the 15 organisations that make up the Health Innovation Network in 2025/26:
- More than 2.1 million patients benefited from national and local programmes
- More than 2,300 innovators were supported
- Almost £1.5 billion in investment was leveraged.
More than 1,500 jobs were created or safeguarded.
These figures represent the collective impact of the Health Innovation Network across England.
Building the organisation behind the impact
Our impact is made possible by our people and partners.
We are committed to being a high-performing, inclusive organisation where people are empowered to do their best work. This means operating with transparency and accountability, championing diversity, equity and inclusion, and creating an environment where everyone can contribute to better outcomes for patients and communities.
We continue to bring focus to the ways in which we strengthen inclusion and create social value, both within and beyond our organisation. We welcomed two new interns through the Health Data Research UK Black Internship Programme, which aims to address the under-representation of Black data scientists across the sector.
We also built on our partnership with the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham (LAET), with 42 Year 12 students taking part in sprint challenges to design, develop and present innovation-based solutions to real healthcare problems. Together, we want to inspire the next generation of young people to consider careers in health and life sciences. In total, 78 students have taken part in the programme over the last two years.

“The Summer Project is a fantastic opportunity – students get to feed into real world healthcare solutions to issues in their own communities, collecting and analysing their own primary data and presenting their suggested solutions to a panel of experts. Students are genuinely passionate about their findings and the ideas that followed.”
