NHS England’s Expo 2016 will run for two days on 7 and 8 September at Manchester Central. UCLPartners is excited to be taking part in a range of activities, along with the county’s Academic Health Science Networks.
There will be an AHSN Network area and an “Innovator Zone”, showcasing health and care innovations from small and medium sized companies, including:
We will be sharing the latest on our work with the NHS Innovation Accelerator, delivering both a plenary session on the main stage (8 September, 9 – 9.50am) and a pop up university workshop (7 September, 3 – 3.45pm, pop-up university 3). The workshop will share the case for innovation in system change and demonstrate the impact adoption of innovation can have on both making financial savings and improving patient outcomes. We will also be highlighting the pan-London work on atrial fibrillation at the pop up university session titled ‘Delivering the FYFV: Working collaboratively to prevent stroke’ (8 September, 1 – 1.45pm, pop-up university 6).
