About us
We are health innovation specialists based in London. We work with others to transform healthcare through applied innovation.
We were created as an independent organisation by people working in the NHS and academia who wanted to do things differently to improve health and care.
We help to generate new ideas and innovations or adapt existing ones. We test, evaluate, and scale the best solutions to real world problems, working with NHS colleagues to implement these solutions in hospitals, communities, GP practices and beyond.
We are based in Hale House, a health-tech incubator hub located at the heart of London’s rich ecosystem of world-leading hospitals, research institutions, and life sciences expertise.
As an agile organisation, we can adapt and respond to the changing needs of the health and care system. We work in the spaces between technology, culture, design, research, funding, policy and regulation.
To help us, we draw on diverse expertise from across the sector, including hospitals, universities, and industry, breaking down silos and creating connections.
This is something we’ve done since we were formed in 2009. Along the way we’ve delivered real impact, rethinking how we treat dementia and CVD, to name a couple of areas where we’ve made a difference. We will continue to do this as we build healthcare fit for the future.
