Health Technology Advisor

Full time or part time Fixed Term Contract for 12 months
This role is suited to experienced clinicians and senior managers with experience within NHS mental health services, who have a proven interest in technology and driven by improving health and social care through adoption and development of innovation.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

This position will play a critical role supporting engagement between health technology suppliers, NHS Providers and other local stakeholders.  They will build relationships with industry suppliers, providing support and advice on how to engage with the NHS.

The programme/ project

The Commercial & Innovation team leads on UCLPartners’ AHSN engagement with health technology companies and their networks across all technology sectors (digital, medical technology, diagnostics and pharmaceutical)

The role

The role is an essential link between industry partners with innovative new technology and the NHS. Supporting national programmes and activity including the AAC, ITP and ITT products, you will work with team member to assess an innovation for its readiness to scale and spread within the health and care system.

The person

Clinical or operational experience within NHS mental health services, with a clear track record of being involved in local innovation or transformation projects. A general interest in improving health services and supporting long-term sustainability of the NHS.
