At UCLPartners, we bring together the NHS, academia, industry and communities to transform care through innovation. As our Director of Innovation Development, you’ll lead how we identify, prioritise and develop the innovations that matter most.
In this role, you will:
Lead our approach to spotting system needs and high-value opportunities Shape cross-pipeline processes from ideation to adoption
Build strong partnerships across NHS, academia and industry
Oversee performance frameworks, impact reporting and assurance
Drive grant strategy (e.g. UKRI, SBRI) and align funding to priorities
Lead and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary team
We’re looking for someone who:
✔ Has senior leadership experience in health, research or innovation
✔ Can influence senior NHS and academic stakeholders
✔ Understands innovation pathways, evaluation and system pressures
✔ Thrives in complex, collaborative environments
