Delivery Director, NHS Innovation Accelerator
Closing date:
25 November 2022
The role
We have a new and exciting role at the NIA leading the system engagement efforts on behalf our Fellows and the solutions they offer. On average, each cohort contains 15-20 Fellows, all tackling the key pillars in the NHS. You will work closely with the NIA team, the Fellows, our partners, and teams across all 15 AHSNs to deliver impact to improve care for patients via the solutions offered. This role is pivotal to aid the spread and adoption of the innovations of our Fellows. This can only work with the right relationships with our partners, the ASHNs but also the ICSs (Integrated Care Systems).
The interviewer panel will be held on 8 December with hybrid/online access offered, although face-to-face is preferred.
The team
The NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) is an award-winning national NHS England (NHSE) initiative delivered in partnership with England’s 15 Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) and the Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC). Hosted at UCLPartners, the programme supports committed individuals (‘Fellows’) to scale high impact, evidence-based innovations across the NHS and wider healthcare system. The programme is chaired by Professor Stephen Powis, National Medical Director for NHS England, and fully supported across senior NHSE leadership.
