Clinical Lead – Deterioration

The role
The role will support the delivery of a key element of the UCLPartners patient safety programme, involving collaboration with key stakeholders at the interface between acute, primary care and all providers of care including social care, as well as key national stakeholders. Help make a difference to people’s lives, and support the spread of improvements and innovations in health and social care.
The post holder will support the delivery of the National Patient Safety Improvement Programme, as part of the local and national response to COVID-19, as well as UCLPartners’ longer-term interest in this area. The focus will be on supporting health and care teams to make improvements in the identification and management of deteriorating patients, particularly in non-acute settings.
The person
Interest in the role is invited from clinicians from a medical or nursing background with strong experience in multi-disciplinary working; they could be a GP, Geriatrician or suitably qualified AHP or Nurse. The successful candidate will be a credible leader who can build engagement and secure co-operation of key stakeholders at the interface between acute, primary care and all providers of care including social care.
