We believe that patient experience must be central to the planning, development and delivery of health services and research.
We aim to continuously seek new ways to involve and engage patients, carers and families that better meets their needs and expectations, and ensures that they have influence on health services and research. We support healthcare staff in our region in developing skills to effectively involve patients and the public.
We encourage and help our NHS, academic and industry partners to work with their communities and patients to harness research and innovation for local, sustainable, improvements in health.
