Identifying the problem

The toolkit is a way to understand your organisation’s needs and support you to implement the right innovation or digital tool.

We would suggest you try to answer the following 10 questions before proceeding to the next part of the toolkit. You can use our interactive framework or share with your team members.

Needs assessment  

  1. What are the key quality improvement needs of the organisation which could be process based or objective led? 
  2. How big is your organisation, practice list size/ number of employees? 
  3. How can technology act as an enabler to your quality improvement needs?
  4. What is the current method / process for doing this? 
  5. Will technology be helping with one or more of the following: saving money, improving patient outcomes or improving operational efficiencies?
  6. What roles will be supporting the delivery of this implementation? 
  7. What is the timeline for implementing this solution?  
  8. What impact are you expecting to achieve?  
  9. What are your organisation’s perceived risks/ barriers to successful implementation? 
  10. Is this idea scalable?
