Lucy is a qualified physiotherapist, specialising in respiratory medicine and as a clinical educator, has worked in a large simulation centre, designing, delivering and evaluating interprofessional training for doctors, nurses and AHPs.
Having worked at Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, Lucy has clinical experience in community healthcare and of peripatetic work across acute hospitals. She has worked with and trained physical and mental health care professionals across almost all professional groups.
This experience has given her a wide lens on health and social care services and systems which she applies to ensure the education programme is delivering training and innovation projects which will improve the experience of staff and the care of patients.
The UCLPartners Simulation Network support healthcare educators who use simulation-based education to collaborate and innovate. The network meets quarterly to share education programme designs, methodologies and evaluation methods.
