Dr Francesca Faravelli

Dr Francesca Faravelli is the Clinical Director of the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service Alliance. In this role, she is leading work that aims to achieve maximum benefit to patients from the potential of personalised interventions based on genomics.

She is a consultant in Clinical Genetics with over 20 years clinical experience in a broad scope of clinical practice and will continue to practice part-time.

Francesca is a Honorary Associate Professor at UCL, and has contributed to the strategy and delivery of a range of educational activities, from basic genomic education of the public and patient groups, to undergraduate and postgraduate students and a range of the NHS workforce (including primary care physicians, nursing and midwifery community and paramedics) and MSc students.
