Transfer of education Lead Provider responsibilities from UCLPartners to Health Education England (HEE)

1 August 2017

UCLPartners is in the process of transferring education Lead Provider responsibilities to Health Education England (HEE).

UCLPartners was commissioned by HEE to deliver post-graduate medical and dental education as part of the London-wide Lead Provider model. In 2015 the model was reviewed and the conclusion was that specialties would no longer be outsourced and would instead be administered by HEE. Specialty management will transfer to HEE between 1 August and 3 October 2017. Therefore, after this date all training programme management queries should be directed to HEE. Contact details for HEE can be found here. To find out when specialties transfer click here.

We are happy to answer any of your questions in the lead up to the transition of the relevant specialty. You can contact us at education@uclpartners.com.

UCLPartners continues to offer professional development opportunities; including training courses and our annual education conference.

The Lead Provider function is just one part of UCLPartners’ educational and wider offering. You can find out more about the organisation here.
