Innovative UK-Israel digital health accelerator celebrates achievements
DigitalHealth.London celebrated the achievements of cohort one of the innovative UK-Israel Dangoor Health Initiative in a showcase demonstration this week in Tel Aviv, which also marked the launch of cohort two.
The UK-Israel Dangoor Health Initiative was established to connect Israeli digital health SMEs with the NHS.
Graduating cohort one companies DayTwo, Neurotech Solutions and Orpheus Medical demonstrated their solutions in a showcase evening hosted by the IBM Alpha Zone Accelerator in Tel Aviv on 4 June.
Cohort two of the programme was also launched at the event along with an announcement of plans for participating companies Dario Health and Agamon to visit London on 1-3 July.
The London visit, hosted by DigitalHealth.London, will see Dario Health and Agamon present their innovative digital health solutions to leading NHS England and UK health-tech decision makers while learning more about the UK health system.
NASDAQ-listed Dario Health provides people living with chronic or pre-chronic conditions such as Diabetes with a personalized, data-driven experience to improve their lifestyle and health outcomes.
Agamon, a healthcare intelligence platform and late-stage start-up, provides tools and services for a faster, more efficient and scalable way to access high quality healthcare data and insights, initially focusing on structuring radiological reports.
Masood Ahmed, Senior Advisor at DigitalHealth.London attended the showcase demonstration evening in Tel Aviv and commented: “It’s easy to understand how the rich culture of innovation has flourished in this environment. This was an amazing showcase of cutting-edge ideas hosted by the IBM Alpha Zone Accelerator. It was wonderful for DigitalHealth.London and the UK-Israel Tech Hub to be recognised by IBM leadership and innovators for our work with cohort one companies DayTwo, Neurotech Solutions and Orpheus Medical. We very much look forward to working with Dario Health and Agamon on cohort two of this programme.”
