Dr Charlie Davie appointed as Managing Director of UCLPartners
The UCLPartners Board has announced the appointment of Dr Charlie Davie as Managing Director of UCLPartners after an extensive international search process.
Charlie has been Managing Director of the UCLPartners Academic Health Science Network since April 2014 and interim Managing Director of UCLPartners since the retirement of Professor Sir David Fish in September 2016.
Charlie brings extensive clinical and academic experience to this role with an impressive career as a consultant neurologist and as an honorary senior lecturer at UCL’s Institute of Neurology. As the lead for the reconfiguration of hyper acute stroke units in London, Charlie has a strong track record in partnership working and delivering improvements on behalf of whole populations. In addition to his local leadership and influence, Charlie has held several national advisory roles, most recently providing expert opinion on the Accelerated Access Review working with the Office of Life Sciences and NHS England.
