UCLPartners Care Home Safety Network

Please join us at the next UCLPartners Care Homes Safety Network Event .

This event will focus on improving the care of people with dementia living in care homes. We will hear about a range of topics from speakers across the region, including:

  • research into staff experience of deterioration of residents with advanced dementia within nursing homes
  • reducing the use of antichonliergics 
  • improving the well being of residents with dementia

We would like to invite you to join us and colleagues across the North Central London, North East London, Mid and South Essex, Herts Valley and West Essex at this event.

About the network

The UCLPartners Care Homes Safety Network is part of the National Patient Safety Improvement Programme and will provide a platform to learn and share ideas to support care homes to improve and deliver outstanding care.

Network events will focus on improvement and safety work, bringing together colleagues from across the system to showcase examples of good practice and interventions that will support and develop care homes in managing deterioration and medicine safety.

The network will be focused on work taking place across the UCLPartners footprint and will include representation from:

  • Care Home Managers & Staff
  • Integrated Care System leaders
  • CCGs
  • Primary care
  • Pharmacists
  • Local authorities
