Project Coordinator, Proactive Care and Cardiovascular Disease Prevention

UCLPartners is recruiting a highly organised and committed project coordinator to support the implementation of the Proactive Care frameworks across North East London and to provide project and administrative support to the wider Proactive Care team. Depending on organisation priority, the role may also be required to support other projects and programmes as required. The role will predominantly focus on implementation across the UCLPartners geography although there may be opportunities to support national implementation. We particularly welcome applications from a diverse set of backgrounds and are very open to flexible working arrangements.
Key responsibilities
The role will involve the following types of activities:
- Organise and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including taking minutes and ensuring all actions are logged and followed up on as required
- Manage events and workshops from concept to delivery, including development of registration processes, coordination of presenters and content development, facilitation of break-out rooms, and creation/analysis of post-event evaluation
- Project manage the development of externally facing resources to support with the implementation of UCLPartners Proactive Care Frameworks in local health systems including how-to guides, presentations, and communication briefs
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and maintain documentation such as project plans, action trackers and reports, coordinate activities and gather information and data as required
- Manage the Primary Care team mailbox responding to requests in a timely manner
- Contribute to identifying new opportunities and projects to embed Proactive Care for people with long-term conditions across local health systems.
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience in supporting multiple projects or events and working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment within the NHS, preferably in primary care
- Experience of coordination of meetings that involve external and internal stakeholders
- Ability to develop productive working relationships and communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Ability to proactively recommend and implement improvements to processes and projects that add value to the work
- Highly pro-active and able to work autonomously, prioritise, organise and plan own workload and deliver results consistently
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of MS Office applications
