Head of Communications and Engagement, OneLondon Local Health & Care Record
Closing date:
1 January 2022
About the role
The post-holder will lead on all aspects of communication and engagement for OneLondon, ensuring there is an aligned, robust and strategic approach in place to support London’s digital transformation and interoperability objectives.
This is a challenging role that will require high levels of confidence, political astuteness, aptitude, and diplomacy as well as exceptional professional skills and expertise. The Head of Communications and Engagement will be required to span the two worlds of strategic development and operational delivery; and be able to excel in both. The postholder should also be able to operate within highly complex and political environments to support consistent, collaborative and controlled communication and feedback activities, supporting stakeholders across the regional landscape to develop and deliver consistent narratives around the integration of health and care data and information and its use to improve outcomes for Londoners.
About the OneLondon Local Health & Care Record Programme
London as a global capital is committed to the ambition of being one the world’s healthiest major cities. For this to be achieved, Londoners need to be connected to information that empowers them; professionals caring for them need to make safe and effective decisions; and our great research institutions need to continue to make the new discoveries that will improve all our lives.
Working together to help achieve this vision, the OneLondon collaborative is made up of the five integrated care systems (ICSs) across London, the region’s three Academic Health Science Networks (including UCLPartners), the London Ambulance Service, and the Greater London Authority.
