Commercial Data Project Manager, DATA-CAN

The role

As Commercial Data Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring cancer data science projects are scoped and delivered in a timely manner across a network of NHS hospital sites, within agreed budgets and to the satisfaction of commercial sponsors and patient representatives. This will be a unique role working at the interface between large NHS Cancer Centres across the UK and a range of organisations in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.

Health data collected by the NHS and other organisations is not always quick and easy for researchers to find, access and analyse. DATA-CAN is a UK-wide partnership that aims to unlock the power of health data to improve cancer care. We are working in partnership with patients and the public to make this high-quality health data more accessible for cancer researchers, clinicians and other health professionals, so it is easier to conduct research into new treatments, identify opportunities for earlier diagnosis and make improvements in care for people affected by cancer.

DATA-CAN provides a range of services to commercial researchers, including the delivery of specialist data analysis projects which generate new insights into the treatment and care of cancer patients. https://www.data-can.org.uk/
