Clinical Lead – Mental Health & Behaviour Change Programmes

This role will support the development, and encourage STP and ICS adoption, of the KOPP Programme – a package of evidence based interventions, developed at UCLPartners, aimed at optimising preventive care for people with SMI and risk factors for CVD.
More widely, the clinical lead will act in an advisory capacity to the UCLPartners Mental Health & Behaviour Change team, and will have responsibility for building and maintaining excellent working relationships with the wider health system across the UCLPartners geography including STPs and ICSs.
The post holder will be a consultant psychiatrist or other senior mental health care practitioner with a genuine enthusiasm for improving mental health services, who can act as champion for our mental health programmes within and beyond the UCLPartners region.
They will be a credible leader who can build engagement and secure co-operation of key stakeholders at the interface between acute, primary care and all providers of mental health care including social care. The Mental Health and Behaviour Change Clinical Lead should be experienced in multi-disciplinary working with a good working knowledge of quality improvement methodologies.
