Workforce development

We provide a range of training and education programmes to support health and care staff to have the knowledge, skills and tools to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

We provide system-wide multi-professional leadership and capability development, building leadership and workforce skills across our partnership.

Our educational resources for specific clinical specialities include resources for referrers to child and adolescent mental health care and end-of-life care training films and materials.

UCLPartners host the London Simulation Network, working with healthcare simulation practitioners across the region. Simulation-based education involves recreating a real life task, event or experience with the aim of providing a safe learning environment to enable the acquisition of or practice of skills, knowledge and behaviours of individuals or teams of healthcare practitioners. It serves as an educational tool for the workforce in providing the opportunity for learning that is both immersive and experiential.
