Hawa Choudhury

Programme Lead for Atrial Fibrillation

Hawa is an experienced programme manager with a background in service improvement, project implementation and delivery and has over 10 years experience working within the NHS.  At UCLPartners, she leads the Atrial Fibrillation programme aiming to detect and manage people with undiagnosed or under treated atrial fibrillation which is a leading risk factor for stroke. 

She previously held roles as Project manager for Barts Health supporting various service improvement projects. In particular, delivering the Barts Charity project for the Newham Hospital Rainbow centre, in addition to aligning community MSK contracts against commissioning targets.

Hawa is a LLB Law graduate from City, University of London. Currently, she is working towards a Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership qualification, certified by the Chartered Management Institution. 

Hawa currently mentors a university student with dyslexia in her own time and aspires to support other students with learning disabilities.
