Digital Health 2017 Innovation Awards
Digital Health 2017 in collaboration with Digital Catapult introduces the Innovation Award 2017 to celebrate the most successful businesses in digital health. Submissions will be judged and awarded by high profile panel of judges and chaired by Dr Lucie Burgess, Head of Health, Digital Catapult.
Entries are open to SMEs, business, charity or health delivery organisations: so long as they present an innovation in digital health, we welcome entries from a diverse array of organisations. The National Institute for Excellence (NICE) is offering the opportunity to small or medium sized enterprises, charities and academic research groups to win a light scientific advice NICE review which can:
- identify gaps and critically comment on your plans for clinical studies including study design, population, comparators, and health-related quality of life data collection
- comment on proposed health economic modelling
- help you to demonstrate the value of your product to the NHS.
Entries are open to small or medium sized enterprises, charities and academic research groups who are in a clinical development phase for a medicinal product, a medical device, a diagnostic test, a cell therapy, a gene therapy, or a healthcare app. The product must be intended for the treatment, prevention, diagnosis, improving treatment adherence or monitoring of a medical condition. The applicant should be in the clinical development phase and able to outline prospective plans.
