Head of Atrial Fibrillation and Medicine Optimisation Programme
We are looking for an experienced programme lead to design and develop the strategic narrative to promote UCLPartners’ Atrial Fibrillation and Medicine Optimisation offer.
This is a senior role within UCLPartners with responsibility and accountability for the management of Atrial Fibrillation (AF) and Medicine Optimisation (MOP) programme. The role includes delivering high profile activities across the UCLP geography with a particular focus on achieving national AHSN targets through local initiatives and partnerships. The incumbent will have an external facing role with partner organisations, regulators, funding bodies and other improvement organisations. They will act with autonomy and exercise discretion on a daily basis both internally and externally to ensure the successful delivery of a series of complex, innovative programmes on time and in budget.
Duties of the role include:
- Coordinate, manage and develop the AF and MOP team and ensure delivery of the work programmes
- Manager and monitor the devolved programme budget(s) in a prudent manner to ensure that the value for money is achieved. To regularly track and interrogate income and expenditure, to prepare financial business plans, to ensure delivery of all projects and programmes on budget, and to adhere to financial procedures
- Together with the clinical Programme Director, to set the strategic direction of the team and be responsible for the execution of the strategy
