We are looking for an ambitious individual for our Commercial Director role to lead the delivery of collaboration between industry, academia, health and social care in order to drive a step-change in the way innovation and sustainable healthcare solutions spread quickly and successfully throughout the health sector.

The Commercial Director will be responsible for working collaboratively with partners and other organisations in order to optimise dissemination of innovation through commercial support such as procurement, licensing, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, collaborative bid writing as well as management of commercial contracts and budgets while also ensuring that duplication is minimised and avoided.

The successful applicant will have substantial commercial experience managing and leading business, product and service development. Breadth of experience across more than one market would be preferred. To be successful in this role you will need to have a good knowledge of the NHS and how the various organisations in primary, community, secondary and social care work together to commission and deliver high quality health and social care.
