Practice nurses, nurse practitioners and GPs, as shared leaders – working together to lead transformation in general practice
18 January 2018, 5.30pm - 8.00pm
UCLPartners invites you to join us on Thursday 18 January 2018 for the next of our popular Primary Care Development workshops.
The latest workshop will explore the vital but undervalued potential for Practice Nurses and nurse practitioners to play a key role in leading the development of general practice in our region.
Jane Clegg (Director of Nursing and Regional Deputy Chief Nurse (London Region), NHS England) will speak about NHS England’s Ten Point Action Plan for General Practice Nursing, how this is being used to support identification and development of Nurse leaders in general practice, and how GPs and other primary care leaders can support this agenda.
Delegates will have the opportunity to then hear from two local examples from North Central London and Tower Hamlets with joint presentations by Nursing and GP colleagues, showing how practice nurses, nurse practitioners and GPs are working together as leaders to lead transformation in general practice. The event will be followed by a drinks reception providing the opportunity to network with local leaders in primary care.
