Involvement Leads Network meeting

About this Event

This meeting will be all about equality, diversity, and inclusion.

We are very lucky to have Zoe Gray, the former head of the National Institute of Health Research’s (NIHR) INVOLVE, and now the associate director of the new NIHR Centre for Engagement and Dissemination. We will also present our new, national, Academic Health Science Network diversity and inclusion pledges.

We will invite attendees to discuss any of their own organisation’s recent equality, diversity and inclusion work.

And for the whole group – have you seen EDI initiatives go badly? And where has it been done well? What has made something successful, or cringe-worthy, in your eyes? What has made you check your assumptions, and your privilege?
