Human Factors for Healthcare Professionals

Increase awareness of the role human factors plays in maintaining high reliability, resilient and safe practice.
This session is aimed at anyone interested in learning about Human Factors, this module introduces the underlying evidence for the crucial part that human factors play in team and individual performance of tasks.
This course will equip healthcare professionals to:
- understand how & why errors are made & how to avoid them
- communicate more effectively
- maintain team awareness
- recognise early signs of error
- reduce stress
- share the plan & identify risks in advance
- learn from success & contribute to a proactive safety culture
- maintain safe practice
Please note that although this event is free, a holding fee of £50 is taken and will be charged for non-attendance or for cancellations made less than seven days before the event without a valid reason.
