Matt continues to practise as a part time GP. Previously he worked as clinical and public health advisor to the Department of Health respiratory programme and led development of the first Respiratory Atlas of Variation. He has also been a member of the NICE Public Health Interventions Advisory Committee developing evidence-based prevention guidelines for front line professionals. Matt has a master’s degree in Public Health and is a Fellow of both the Royal College of GPs and the Royal College of Physicians.
