UCLPartners develops training within our partnership to ensure staff have the knowledge, skills and tools to provide high quality, compassionate care.
Our aim is to ensure:
- That we add as much value to trainees as an Education Lead Provider as possible
- That we provide system-wide multi-professional leadership and capability development
- Core capacity in innovation, improvement and change
Education Lead Provider
UCLPartners is commissioned by Health Education England (HEE) in north central and east London to manage postgraduate medical and dental education in 45 specialties across north central and east London, parts of Essex, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, with some programmes extending across the whole of London.
The education of health professionals is fundamental to achieving the scale and pace of change needed to address the healthcare challenges we are facing today. UCLPartners is the largest lead provider in London, with responsibility for over 3,000 trainees at any one time. We aim to make a real difference to patient care by adding value to the standard national training curricula.
As an Education Lead Provider, we also support a simulation network to provide a coordinated approach for both those who want to attend simulation training courses, and faculty wishing to deliver and share examples of innovative practice.
