Are you interested in delivering Child and Adolescent Mental Health awareness training to GP practice staff?
Trainers interested in raising awareness and understanding of mental health issues among children and young people are invited to the UCLPartners’ Breaking Down the Barriers – Become a Trainer session for Child and Adolescent Mental Health across GP settings, in association with YoungMinds.
At the end of the course, you will:
- Understand and be able to promote awareness of issues relating to child and adolescent mental health.
- Understand resilience framework, and be able to prepare and deliver training sessions on child and adolescent mental health and resilience across GP settings in primary care.
- You will be required to deliver a minimum of three training sessions per year across the North, Central and East London region.
- You must be an NHS professional working within the North, Central and East London region.
Training takes place over 1.5 days: one whole day on the 15 May, followed by a half day of training on the 17 May.
Attendance is FREE and by registration only
There are only 26 spaces available for two/three trainers across each NCEL region
The trainer sessions are open to those working in primary and social health care settings
